How To: Build a Satisfying Snack
One of the most common topics of conversation in my sessions with clients revolves around snacks. Somewhere along the line snacking in general got a bad rap. I have so many clients that have heard or believe that snacking is unhealthy, unnecessary, or inherently excessive. I couldn’t disagree more! Snacks are absolutely a normal, enjoyable, and often very necessary part of eating. It is rare for me to come across someone who is fueling themselves adequately, has sustained energy, and a healthy relationship with food who doesn’t snack.
Now that we’ve established that we don’t need to fear the snack, it begs the question: what to snack on? If you’re one of my clients or you’ve talked with me about food for more than 2 minutes you likely already know that I’m a firm believer that there is no such thing as an inherently right or wrong choice when it comes to choosing what to eat. Everybody has different needs, preferences, budgets, and appetites that inform what the right choice is for them. However, if you find yourself in need of some guidance as to how to build a snack that fits your needs, look no further.
I’ve put together a free Satisfying Snack Strategy printable guide that I’d love to share with you! Enter your email and the guide will be sent directly to your inbox.
Happy Snacking!
